Sauna Water Damage

The luxury of having a sauna in your home is not to be taken for granted. Of course, it does not come without some inherent risk! In this case, the line that supplied water to the saunas steam feature froze above the unit and water permeated the structure destroying the cedar wood walls and teak bench inside. Our team of professionals arrived on the scene and quickly determined the best course of action to mitigate the damage. First, we removed any wet, saturated wood and insulation to stop the potential growth of mold. After using dehumidifiers and air movers to dry the room our construction team came into to restore the sauna!
