Water Damage in Bathroom
In this home the plumbing and bathrooms were stacked. The second floor bathroom shower had leaked behind the walls of the house before the damage had become clearly visible on the first floor. The leak occurred from above the room so it was imperative to remove all sheetrock and insulation from the bathroom as well as tiled walls that were wet from the inside. We were able to salvage the original flooring but that is not always the case with water damage. Many times hardwood flooring, carpeting, and linoleum flooring need to be completely removed and discarded after water damage has set in.
