Westerly Groundwater Intrusion Loss

When groundwater rushes into a finished basement in a Westerly home, the damage can be quite significant. The Before Photo depicts the mirky, contaminated water covering the concrete color-stained floor. Our SERVPRO team can arrive quickly and move the contents out of harm's way and then begin the water extraction. Using our truck-mounted pump, the black water removal is done quickly. But, the walls wicked in some of the liquid, and we performed flood cuts to remove non-salvageable sheetrock, which also helped to expedite the drying process.
