SERVPRO's Storm Team is Prepared to Help In Floods & Storms
7/8/2022 (Permalink)
The country's June 2022 record for highest temperatures was broken in several states this year. Experts believe that this is just the beginning of a hot summer. Record breaking days with nighttime temperatures above 90 degrees are happening in cities throughout the south. There is no relief from heat, even at night. These areas are vulnerable to flooding if it rains. The reason is that the dry, hardened ground won't be able absorb water fast enough in case of a tropical storm or large rainfall. These areas often see heavy rains during hurricane season. These are the types of storms that cause the most damage to commercial and residential properties and homes in the United States. People can't do much to prepare for these storms except to listen to local authorities and be prepared to evacuate commercial properties or homes that are in the path or floods. We will also be there to assist in the event of any damage. If needed, our team of disaster restoration and storm management experts are ready to assist in any storm that strikes New England, New York or elsewhere in the country.
